Welcome to Garden Route Dog School, proudly situated in the heart of George, Western Cape. Originally founded in the 1990s, our school has a long-standing passion for helping dogs and their owners build stronger, happier relationships.

In recent years, our community has grown and evolved — leading to the formation of two branches: the IGP Club and the Garden Route Dog School, now proudly run by Teegan. Together with a dedicated team of skilled trainers, each specializing in different areas of canine development, we offer a complete range of training programs — from puppy classes and home obedience to nose work, rally, and agility.

Our mission is simple: to help every dog reach their full potential through positive, reward-based training that’s effective, compassionate, and fun.

We’re also incredibly proud to have been awarded Dog School of the Year in George in 2025 — a reflection of our passion, teamwork, and commitment to excellence. As we continue to grow, our goal is to take Garden Route Dog School to even greater heights, one paw at a time! 💙🐾
